In the video, an attacker can be seen approaching Bishop Emmanuel from behind as he is giving a sermon. The attacker then grabs the bishop by the neck and appears to stab him multiple times. The bishop falls to the ground, and the attacker continues to attack him.
Other churchgoers can be seen rushing to the bishop's aid, and the attacker eventually flees the scene. Bishop Emmanuel was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is in stable condition.
